Office Manager (Full-Time)
The Idaho Falls Symphony is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to support the daily operations of the organization and serve as a key point of connection for patrons, donors, and the community.
This full-time role is essential to the Symphony’s success, ensuring strong financial processes, excellent patron service, and efficient office operations.
About the Role
The Office Manager oversees core administrative and financial functions, including bookkeeping, ticketing, and office operations. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position plays a central role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting organizational systems, and fostering positive relationships with patrons and donors.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Process and document donations with care and confidentiality
- Reconcile ticketing and financial records
- Support financial reporting and audit preparation
Office Operations
- Manage day-to-day office functions and systems
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment
- Oversee supplies, equipment, and operational needs
Patron Services & Box Office
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patrons and visitors
- Manage ticket sales through PatronManager/Salesforce
- Process transactions accurately and securely
- Oversee box office operations at concerts and events
Administrative Support
- Prepare materials for board and committee meetings
- Assist with scheduling and organizational coordination
- Manage mailings and maintain accurate contact records
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping systems required
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with financial data
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
- Experience with Google Workspace or similar tools
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $50,000 annually

Work Environment
This position works closely with Symphony leadership, board members, patrons, and volunteers. It is well-suited for someone who values structure, accuracy, and meaningful work in a mission-driven arts organization.
Evening and weekend availability is required for concerts and events.

Marketing & Events Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Idaho Falls Symphony is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to help bring music to life in our community. This role blends marketing, storytelling, and event coordination to support concerts, fundraising efforts, and meaningful patron experiences.
Working closely with the Executive Director, the Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a key role in connecting audiences to the Symphony through thoughtful marketing and well-executed events.
About the Role
This position supports both the Symphony’s public presence and patron experience—from managing digital communications to coordinating concerts, donor events, and community gatherings.
This is a part-time role (25–30 hours per week) with a flexible schedule that reflects the rhythm of a performing arts organization. Workload increases during concert weeks and major events, with opportunities for adjusted scheduling following peak periods.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns
- Manage social media, email communications, and digital content
- Collaborate with creative partners (designers, videographers, media)
- Help shape engaging messaging and audience outreach
- Track engagement and support audience growth efforts
- Ensure consistency of the Symphony’s brand and voice
Events & Patron Experience
- Coordinate front-of-house concert operations
- Plan and execute VIP sponsor receptions and hospitality
- Support the Symphony’s annual gala and fundraising events
- Assist with donor and community engagement events
- Coordinate volunteers and event logistics
- Help create a welcoming, high-quality experience for all patrons
Audience Engagement
- Support initiatives to increase attendance and community connection
- Assist with outreach and partnership activities
- Maintain clear and timely communication with patrons
Qualifications
- Background in marketing, communications, events, or nonprofit administration
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Availability for evening and weekend events
Compensation
- Hourly: $20–$22/hour
- Salary option available: $32,000 annually, including paid time off and holiday benefits
