The Idaho Falls Symphony is made up of dedicated musicians whose work goes beyond the concert hall stage in their work as performers, teachers, and artists throughout our community. This page is a place for musicians and community members to find events throughout the region being presented by IFS musicians.

We are lucky to have an orchestra full of active performers, educators, and artists. As an additional way to strengthen the wonderful camaraderie between our musicians and to demonstrate to the community the wide impact that IFS performers have throughout this region, the Idaho Falls Symphony is launching a new page on their website titled, "Musicians of the Idaho Falls Symphony." This is a space where orchestra musicians can share non-IFS events that they are presenting with their colleagues and with the wider community. If you have an upcoming faculty recital, school orchestra concert, student showcase or other performance, we invite you to follow the steps below to submit information about your event so that it can be shared both with your colleagues and your Idaho Falls Symphony audience!

East Idaho Jazz Society Jam Sessions at Pachangas!

Open jam sessions are hosted by the non-profit Eastern Idaho Jazz Society on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at Pachangas restaurant in Idaho Falls. All musicians and listeners are welcome. sessions run from 7 - 9 pm. Pachangas Restaurant (435 A St., Idaho Falls), Free to participate and attend. Family friendly.

Kevin Young is a founder and current board member of the Eastern Idaho Jazz Society. He plays principal saxophone in the Idaho Falls Symphony and is an advocate for supporting local live music of all types in Eastern Idaho.
