Thomas Heuser Endowment for Musical Excellence

The Idaho Falls Symphony is proud to establish the Thomas Heuser Endowment for Musical Excellence, honoring the remarkable leadership and artistic vision of our outgoing Music Director. This permanent fund will carry forward Dr. Heuser’s legacy by ensuring sustained support for musical artistry, innovation, and excellence within our Symphony. Through the generosity of our community, the endowment will help secure a vibrant future for the orchestra while celebrating the profound impact Dr. Heuser has made on musicians and audiences alike.

Tax-deductibility: The Idaho Falls Symphony is a nonprofit institution and is designated by the IRS as tax-exempt as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Your tax contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, less the fair market value of the benefits you use.

Annual Fund

Your donation to the Idaho Falls Symphony’s Annual Fund is far-reaching. Donations fund performances—from classical concerts like Beethoven's 9th to special presentations such as Celtic Woman—and Symphony outreach efforts. Your support also helps offset the organization’s administrative costs such as musician honoraria, facility rental, stage crew and production costs, guest artist fees, and more.

ElevateHer Music

ElevateHer Music is an opportunity to join with like-minded women to support, promote and enhance opportunities for female artists at the Idaho Falls Symphony. For a $1000 annual commitment, you have access to bespoke experiences such as receptions, music education opportunities, meet and greets with musical artists, conductors, and composers; recognition in the Symphony program and from the stage; and concert and community impact by contributing your voice to upcoming musical programming

Symphony Gala

The annual Symphony Gala is a night filled with dinner, music, dancing, parties and, of course, amazing live and silent auction items! Don't miss the most anticipated night of the year! The first Friday in May.

Education Opportunities

The education programs of the Idaho Falls Symphony involve our professional musicians, conductors and educators interacting with, teaching, and performing music for students throughout Southeast Idaho. Our programs provide musical experiences designed to spark curiosity, teach the language of music, develop widespread interest in playing musical instruments, create opportunities to enhance state education programs, create safe spaces for students, and ultimately to train the next generation of musicians in our community. Your support helps keep costs low for participates in the Idaho Falls Symphony Youth Orchestras, and provide free Ambassador and Link Up programs for area students.

IRA-Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you’re 70½ or older, consider a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. This tax-free donation can also satisfy Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for those aged 73 or older. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make this gift. See links below for more information.
