The Search Series V
The Idaho Falls Symphony’s Search Series V continues our Music Director Search season with the fifth finalist candidate alongside the outstanding winners of the Idaho Falls Symphony Young Artists Competition.
This inspiring concert celebrates the next generation of musical talent as these exceptional young performers take the stage with the orchestra in performances that showcase artistry, dedication, and achievement.
In the Senior Division, our winner is: Spencer Hinton, piano
Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Op. 15, III: Rondo (Allegro non troppo), Johannes Brahms
In the Junior Division, our winner is: Callum McLeod, piano
Concerto in A minor, Op 54, I: Allegro affettuoso, Robert Schumann
The program will also feature music by Beethoven, bringing energy, brilliance, and timeless symphonic tradition to an evening that highlights both emerging artists and exceptional orchestral leadership.

Meet the Conductor
Timothy Verville’s work is described as “awe-inspiring” and credited with “bringing down the house” by the Atlanta Arts Scene. Verville is also a recipient of the American Prize in both Orchestral Performance and Composition. In 2023, the Georgia Secretary of State proclaimed Verville an Outstanding Georgia Citizen for his skills in audience and community outreach. Read more >
