Meet the Sponsors: Mountain View Hospital and Teton Cancer Institute

High Quality Music and Care

Idaho Falls Symphony concerts are funded by generous donors. Meet our presenting sponsors for "The Melting Pot" Concert: Mountain View Hospital and Teton Cancer Institute. We have collaborated with these organizations for many years, and this Pink Ribbon Concert will have lots to enjoy, including:

Breast Cancer Support

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To show our support, pink ribbons will be passed out before the concert. Stick around for a special video presentation after intermission to learn how Mountain View Hospital and Teton Cancer Institute help treat and prevent breast cancer.

Quilt Signing

Spread messages of hope to cancer survivors. Squares of fabric will be available at the concert for audience members to write notes of encouragement. After the concert, the fabric will be made into a beautiful quilt!

Guest Performers

This concert features two special guests: conductor Shizuo Z. Kuwahara and pianist Kara Huber. Meet Shizuo Z. Kuwahara at https://ifsymphony.org/about/meet-the-conductor-finalists/shizuo-z-kuwahara/ and Kara Huber at https://www.interlochen.org/person/kara-huber.
